The Camper Project: Step it Up

I just added value to my camper.
I’m sure the resale value just went up $10.

The edges actually cut our feet when we went in and out.
I knew I had to figure out a way to cover or replace this disgrace of a camper step.

I ripped the linoleum off with my bare hands, because I am She-ra.
Not really, it was disintegrating.
Wet sand and cottonwood leaves is what I’m left with.
No thank you.

I used my purty new dustpan and hand broom to sweep up the Sahara desert off my step.

I cut my $2.97 Home Depot doormat, and put it in place to make sure it would fit.
It didn’t.
I had to cut more off.
I’m glad I checked.

I found this amazing product at The Home Depot, as well.
It was $3.71.
Oh, what is our total so far?
$6.68 + tax.
It spreads pretty thick like toothpaste, so it’s kind of hard to work with.
I spread out a square, and then made an x within the square and mashed the rug down over it.
So far, the time spent on this project, is about four minutes.

And, here’s five minutes.
Shiny and new.
It looks so much better than that stinky linoleum.
Try saying linoleum aluminum ten times fast.
Betcha can’t.

Great project! Easy and a big bang for your buck – even if it was only $6.68 🙂

Yes, this was an easy project that took just a few minutes but made such a huge difference! The price was right too!
